Encounter in the forests of Jharkhand, Naxalites retreated, cache of weapons recovered

News India Live, Digital Desk: Once again there was a face-off between security forces and Naxalites in the dense forests of Jharkhand. The sound of bullets kept echoing from both sides for hours, but in the end the Naxalites could not stand the bravery of the soldiers and the increasing pressure and took advantage of the dense forest and ran away. Although the Naxalites fled, they left behind so much that their bigger conspiracy was exposed.

This incident took place in the Naxal-affected area of ​​the state, where security forces had received intelligence about the gathering of a large contingent of Naxalites. Based on this information, a joint team of CRPF and Jharkhand Police started a search operation in the area.

Firing suddenly started in the forest

As soon as the soldiers reached the interior of the forest, the Naxalites who were already ambushed there started firing on them. The soldiers also immediately took charge and retaliated. There was intermittent firing from both sides for a long time. The soldiers tried to surround the Naxalites from all sides, but the Naxalites managed to escape from the spot under the cover of darkness and dense forest.

A cache of weapons found in the search operation

After the encounter was over, when the soldiers searched the entire area, they were surprised to see the items found there. The Naxalites had hidden a large cache of weapons and explosives there. Items recovered included:

• lethal Weapon: AK-47 rifles, country made guns and huge quantity of cartridges.
• Explosive: Many powerful IED bombs, which were planted to target the soldiers.
• Other accessories: A large quantity of daily use items, cooking items, medicines and Naxalite literature have also been found from the Naxalite camp.

Security forces believe that the Naxalites were planning to carry out some major incident, but the timely action of the soldiers foiled their plans. The recovered IED bombs were safely destroyed by the bomb disposal squad.

Even after this big success, the security forces have continued their search operation in the area, so that the escaped Naxalites can be traced. This operation is considered a major victory in the fight against Naxalites.
