News India Live, Digital Desk: Terrorist Attack: An encounter started once again between security forces and militants in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning. In this action taken in the wild area of ​​Guddar, a terrorist was killed by security forces. Three soldiers, including an army officer, were also injured during this operation.

According to the information, the security forces had received intelligence information about the hiding of some terrorists in the dense forests of Kulgam’s Guddar. On the basis of this information, the Joint team of SOG, Army and CRPF of Jammu and Kashmir Police started a search operation by siege to the area.

Officials said that as soon as the security forces were moving in the forest, the hidden terrorists started firing on them. After this, the security forces also retaliated and the encounter started, in the fierce firing from both sides, the security forces killed a terrorist. The slain terrorist has not been identified yet, but it is believed that he was associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

In this encounter, three soldiers, including an army junior commissioned officer (JCO), injured soldiers have been taken to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment.

At present, the entire area has been sealed and the search operation is still going on. Security forces fear that more terrorists may be hidden in the forest, which are being searched.
