News India Live, Digital Desk: Jharkhand land scam: Enforcement Directorate (ED) action in the alleged land scam case associated with former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is continuing. In this connection, on Tuesday morning, the ED teams once again raided the locations of many well-known builders and land traders while taking major action in Ranchi.

Different ED teams reached different areas of Ranchi at 7 am. According to the information, this raid is going on in about 10 to 12 places in the city including Kanke, Morhabadi and Bariatu.

According to sources, this time on the target of ED, he is the builder and land businessman, whose wires are joining the land scam related to Hemant Soren. In Kamal Bhushan, Raju Singh and Gabbu Singh Like some big names are included. It is being told that these people have played an important role in the purchase and sale of land wrongly.

ED teams are present at the houses, offices and other locations of these builders. The documents being recovered from there are being investigated and people are being questioned.

What is this entire land scam?

This case is related to illegal purchase and sale of 8.5 acres of land occupied by the army located in Badgain area of ​​Ranchi. The ED alleges that an entire gang was working in the scam, which included government officials, land traders and political people. These people prepared fake documents and captured the land and sold them.

The ED suspects that the wires of this entire scam are also associated with former Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In the same case, ED arrested Hemant Soren and is currently in judicial custody. In this case, many other people including former Deputy Commissioner Chitra Ranjan of Ranchi have also been arrested.
