Alert of catastrophic Rain in up today: Monsoon activity in Uttar Pradesh remains continuously, due to which there is rains in many parts of the state. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rains and celestial lightning in 53 districts of the state for 30 June 2025 today. People have been advised to be vigilant about bad weather.

According to the latest IMD update, most parts of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh are likely to rain with thunderstorms. There are about 53 districts where heavy rains can occur, which can affect waterlogging and normal life in low -lying areas.

Meteorologists say that the monsoon trough line is passing through Uttar Pradesh, causing moisture winds and there are favorable conditions for rains. Cities like Varanasi and Mathura and their surrounding areas will also be cloudy today and it may rain intermittently.

Along with the rain, there is a danger of lightning fall, especially people working in open areas and fields have been advised to take special care. The Meteorological Department has also instructed the administration to be alert and prepared to deal with any emergency.

For the next few days, this process of rain is expected to continue in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. People have been appealed to follow the advisory issued by the Meteorological Department and stay in safe places.
