District Magistrate (DM) Harshita Mathur has taken major action against 39 employees simultaneously regarding the flaws received during the review of other development schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). Despite warning several times, when there was no improvement in the way these employees work, the DM took this strict step.

- 2 Panchayat Secretary suspended: Surya Prakash Pal, Panchayat Secretary of Semarpaha village of Bachhrawan block and Virendra Pratap Singh, Panchayat Secretary of Udwa village in Harchandpur block, have been suspended with immediate effect due to serious negligence in work.
- Effect on service records of 11: At the same time, laxity was also found in the work of 11 other Panchayat Secretaries and ADO Cooperative, due to which their service records have recorded ‘adverse entry’. This can affect their future promotion.
- Salary of 26 employees stopped: The biggest gaze has fallen on 26 employees, including many panchayat secretaries. The salary of all these has been stopped till further orders.
