Keshav Prasad Maurya participated as the chief guest in the joint birth anniversary Mahakumbh of ‘Maharishi Kashyap ji, one of the seven sages and Maharaja Nishadraj Guh ji, the best friend of Lord Shri Ram’ organized in Ghaziabad district today. On this occasion, he thoroughly inspected the stalls set up by various departments and interacted with the beneficiaries of the government schemes.
Tribute to the legacy of great men – Addressing the public meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister said that Maharishi Kashyap and Maharaja Nishadraj ji are the pillars of Indian culture.
He said:- The friendship between Maharaja Nishadraj ji and Lord Shri Ram ji is the biggest example of social harmony. Our government is fulfilling its resolve of ‘Antyodaya’ by following the path shown by these great men.”
The Deputy Chief Minister presented citations to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government. Also, taking steps towards social empowerment, tri-cycles were distributed to the disabled people.
