He placed India’s favor strongly in front of the world and said in two words that terrorism will not be tolerated at any cost.
Karara attack on Pakistan: ‘Terrorism has no good or bad’
The Defense Minister gave a clear message to the world on the issue of terrorism. He said, “Terrorism should not be justified, it cannot be justified. It is no such thing as ‘good terrorism’ and ‘bad terrorism’. Terrorism is an enemy of humanity.”
He further said that the countries who use terrorism for their policies will have to pay its price. Rajnath Singh appealed to all SCO member countries to unite and fight against terrorism and decide the accountability of those countries that give shelter, money and support to terrorists. This straightforward signal was towards Pakistan, which has been promoting terrorism across the border for a long time.
China also advised: ‘Respect the sovereignty of others’
Apart from terrorism, Rajnath Singh also surrounded China on its expansionist policies. He said that all countries should respect each other’s sovereignty and regional integrity. No country should threaten peace and security by taking unilateral action.
His statement was against China’s moves where he does not respect the borders of neighboring countries and increases his activities in the disputed areas.
India’s side was also placed on Afghanistan
Rajnath Singh also expressed concern over the situation in Afghanistan. He said that the land of Afghanistan should not be used to spread terrorism in any country. There is a need for a stable and inclusive government that works for the welfare of its people.
