Terrorists have brutally killed 23 people in Balochistan, Pakistan. Gunmen pulled people out of vehicles and shot them after checking their identity. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has condemned the incident.

Another major terrorist attack has taken place in Pakistan. Terrorists have killed at least 23 people from Punjab in Musakhel district of Balochistan. Pakistani newspaper Dawn quoted an official as saying that the terrorists made the passengers get off buses and other vehicles and shot them after checking their identity. Pakistani media quoted Assistant Commissioner Musakhel Najib Kakar as saying that armed men blocked the highway in Rarsham district of Musakhel and shot the passengers dead.

People of Punjab were targeted

According to a senior police officer, most of the deceased have been identified as people from Punjab. He said that the armed men also set fire to 10 vehicles. The bodies were sent to the hospital after the police reached the spot. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has strongly condemned this incident of terrorism. It is clear that this terrorist attack in Musakhel is targeting the people of Punjab. Earlier this year, gunmen got off a bus near Noshki and shot dead nine passengers after checking their ID cards.

Terrorist attacks have happened before

It should also be noted here that this is not the first time such an attack has taken place. In October last year, six labourers from Punjab were shot dead by unknown gunmen in Turbat, located in Kech district of Balochistan. A similar incident took place in 2015, when gunmen attacked a labour camp near Turbat, killing 20 construction workers and injuring three others.
