News India Live, Digital Desk: Deadly Attack on Businessman in Patna: A major criminal incident has come to light questioning the law and order in the capital Patna, where Manoj Kumar, the owner of Trishna Mega Mart, was shot dead late night. The incident took place in front of his residence in Purnendu Nagar, HDFC Bank Lane located in Siprara of Patna bypass police station area. Manoj Kumar was returning to his home late at night, when two criminals riding a bike targeted him indiscriminately. He was rushed to PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital) in a hurry, where doctors declared him dead. This heinous incident has caused sensation in the entire area and the locals are in deep shock. On receiving the information of the incident, Superintendent of Police (Nagar) cum ASP Phulwari Sharif, Satish Kumar, reached the spot with Dal-Bal. The police have taken Manoj Kumar’s body and sent it for postmortem. The police is investigating the case intensively and investigating the possible causes behind the murder. Initial investigation is considering many angles such as old enmity, business disputes or extortion. At the same time, it is also expected that the murder may be related to any property dispute.
