
Middle The government has given the gift of DA increase to the government employees of the state before Diwali. While wishing Diwali to the state government employees, CM Mohan Yadav on Monday announced increase in Dearness Allowance (DA Hike). CM Yadav said that it is the responsibility of the government to take care of the employees of the state. There will be an increase of 4% in the dearness allowance of state government employees from 46 to 50% from January 1, 2024.
Madhya Pradesh DA Hike: Increase in DA
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wrote in a social media post, “Dear people of Madhya Pradesh, on this auspicious occasion of Diwali, I extend my hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the employees of Madhya Pradesh government. I am happy to inform you that we have decided to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4%, which will increase the DA payable currently from 46% to 50%. Government servants will be given dearness allowance at the rate of 50% as on January 1, 2024. The outstanding amount will be paid in four equal installments in this financial year. “Earlier, the increased rate of dearness allowance was made effective from July 1, 2023, the balance of which has also been paid in instalments.”
