When and where will the admit card be released?

Usually CBSE releases the final admit card 2 to 3 days before the exam. According to sources, CTET February 2026 admit cards will be made live on the portal just 48 hours before the exam date. Candidates are advised to keep their ‘Application Number’ and ‘Date of Birth’ ready so that they can download their call letter without any delay once the link is activated.

Exam Schedule and Shift Timing

CTET exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, in which Paper-II (for classes 6 to 8) will be conducted. Whereas, the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, in which the examination of Paper-I (for classes 1 to 5) will be held.

Reporting Time: It is mandatory for the candidates to reach the center at least 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

Required Documents: Do not forget to carry a valid photo identity card (like Aadhar Card, PAN Card or Driving License) along with the admit card.

Enter your application number and date of birth (DOB).

Enter the security PIN shown on the screen and submit.

What things should be kept in mind at the examination centre?

CBSE has given clear instructions that all the guidelines given on the admit card have to be strictly followed. Carrying mobile phone, Bluetooth, calculator, watch or any kind of electronic gadget inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Candidates will be allowed to carry only transparent pen and water bottle.

What is the importance of CTET?

The validity of CTET certificate has now been made ‘lifetime’. Candidates who pass this exam are considered eligible for teacher recruitments of other states including Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS) and Delhi Government Schools (DSSSB).
