
With the beginning of May, the prices of commercial LPG cylinder (19 kg) have been re -cut. This is especially the news of relief for hotels, restaurants and commercial users. However, there has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg cylinder with domestic use.
Comparison of new prices and previous months:
- Delhi: ₹ 1,747.50 (₹ 1,762 in April)
- Kolkata: ₹ 1,851.50 (₹ 1,868.50 in April)
- Mumbai: ₹ 1,699 (₹ 1,713.50 in April)
- Chennai: ₹ 1,906.50 (₹ 1,921.50 in April)
On comparing to March 2025, a total cut in the price of the cylinder in two months has been recorded by ₹ 55.50. There is relief in the second consecutive month in April with a decrease of ₹ 41 in April and ₹ 14.50 in May.
Domestic cylinder prices stable:
Domestic gas cylinder prices are unchanged since April. The last time on 8 April 2025, the price of domestic LPG increased by ₹ 50. Current domestic cylinder prices:
- Delhi: ₹ 853
- Kolkata: ₹ 879
- Mumbai: ₹ 852.50
- Chennai: ₹ 868.50
This reduction in gas prices for the commercial sector will provide some relief to the traders, while domestic consumers will continue to get LPG cylinders at the time of old rates.
