New Delhi: The price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has been reduced by 1.5 percent and apart from this, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder used in hotels and restaurants has been reduced by Rs 14.5. It is noteworthy that the prices of ATF and commercial cylinders are reviewed every month keeping in mind the international price of crude oil.
The price of one kiloliter ATF in Delhi has decreased by Rs 1401.37 to Rs 90,455.47. ATF prices have been reduced after two consecutive months of price hike. Earlier, on November 1, the price of ATF was increased by Rs 2941.5 and on December 1, it was increased by Rs 1318.12.
In the country’s capital Delhi, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has decreased by Rs 14.5 to Rs 1804. Before this, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were increased five times consecutively. In December, three government companies sold a total of 29.9 lakh tonnes of petrol in the country. This sale is 9.8 percent more than in December last year. Last year in December, 27.2 lakh tonnes of petrol was sold. Diesel demand increased by 4.9 percent to 70.7 lakh tonnes in December. It is noteworthy that during the monsoon months, sales of petrol and diesel reduce due to reduction in the number of vehicles.
