Cold again, rain-kehra in 18 states, cold wave alert

Cold wave can also run in Himachal, Rajasthan and Punjab. Western disturbances will remain active in the states of Western Himalayan region, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand. Due to which there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in all three states. The first Western disturbance is expected to be active around 29 January and the second on 1 February. Rain and fog estimate in this state

According to the Meteorological Department, from January 29, back-to-back two western disturbances can affect the Western Himalayan region. The second will be active from 1 February 2025. These effects are expected to cause rain and snowfall. Light rains may occur during the western Himalayan region and surrounding plains from 29 January to 1 February. The weather will also change in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka.

Possibility of rain for next 2 days

Apart from Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam, Rayalaseema, various areas are expected to rain for the next 2 days. There is a possibility of cold wave in different areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Punjab. In Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, there can be dense fog till 29 January in the morning and evening. The weather will be normal and dry in the rest of the country. The temperature is likely to increase.

The weather will be like this in Delhi-NCR

Talking about Delhi-NCR, the cold has increased due to cold wave for the last 2 days. Although there was some relief from the sun during the day, the cold winds of the morning and evening increased the tremor. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Delhi-NCR in the first week of February. On 26 January, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 23.7 degrees and the minimum temperature was 7.2 degrees.
