News India Live, Digital Desk: To be honest, our eyes work the hardest throughout the day. From checking their phones as soon as they wake up in the morning to staring at the TV or computer screen till late at night, they do not get a chance to rest. If you also feel a ‘strange pull’ in your eyes in the evening, then understand that your eyes need extra care.

1. Magic drops of rose water
In Ayurveda, rose water has been described as cool and very soothing for the eyes. If your eyes feel dry or there is slight redness in them, then soak a cotton ball in pure rose water and place it on the eyelids for 10-15 minutes. Believe me, the coolness you will feel after removing it is better than any eye-drop.

2. Palming
When you look at the blue light of the screen for a long time, your eyes get tired. In such a situation, just rub both your palms together until they become warm. Then gently place them on your closed eyes. This ‘natural heat’ of the palms relaxes the nerves of the eyes. You can also do this work while sitting at the desk in the office.

3. Desi Ghee Massage (a little secret)
It may sound a bit strange to you, but there is a deep connection between the health of the soles of the feet and the health of the eyes. Before sleeping at night, rub a little pure desi ghee on the soles of your feet. In Ayurveda it is called ‘Padabhyanga’. It shows amazing effect in improving eyesight and removing fatigue throughout the day.

4. Cold water splash
Many people wash their eyes directly with strong water stream, which is wrong. The right way is to fill some water in your mouth and then slowly splash the eyes with cold water. This improves the blood circulation around the eyes and you feel refreshed instantly.

Eyes are the windows of our soul. Give your mobile a break and follow these simple rules of nature. Just these small habits will keep the smile in your eyes intact for years.
