This action is considered to be one of the biggest actions against the land mafia by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

The land mafia illegally occupied it and not only made themselves hideouts, but also sold the plots to the people and built houses there. On this illegal occupation that has been going on for years, the Yogi government’s hammer finally went on.
A large team led by LDA Vice Chairman Indramani Tripathi, which included several zonal officers and engineers, reached the spot with a heavy police force. Police forces and PACs of several police stations were also deployed for this major operation to prevent any kind of protest.

This action is the direct impact of the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in which he has asked to adopt a policy of ‘zero tolerance’ to free government land from the clutches of mafia across the state. This major action of LDA has given a direct and strict message to the land mafia of the entire state including the capital Lucknow that now the days of illegal occupation of government land are launched.
LDA officials said that the price of the vacated land is in hundreds of crores and the government’s plans will now be carried forward on it. At present, action is still going on in the area and this campaign will not stop until the entire area is freed from illegal encroachment.
