BSC student commits suicide by shooting himself after celebrating his birthday

After celebrating his birthday in Jhingupur village under Saifai police station area in the district, a first year B.Sc. student committed suicide by shooting himself. The student first celebrated his birthday with his family on Wednesday night, then went to his room and committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol. The police and forensic team, which reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Kamla Devi, aunt of the deceased student Abhishek Yadav, told that her nephew Abhishek Yadav was a resident of Nawada of Elau police station area of ​​Mainpuri district and was studying there in Jhingupur village for the last ten years. He told that he was currently pursuing B.Sc. from Chaudhary Charan Singh PG College, Hewara. Last Wednesday was his birthday, which he celebrated with his relatives at home after celebrating with his friends. In which he was looking happy and the birthday party at home also continued till 12 o'clock in the night. After this, uncle Rakesh, aunt Kamala Devi and his son Rahul went to sleep in their separate rooms in the house and Abhishek also went inside the house saying that they would sleep in the room. After some time in the night, when the sound of gunshot was heard, uncle Rakesh woke up and went inside the house and when he went to the room, he saw that Abhishek was lying on the cot soaked in blood. A pistol was also lying on the spot.

Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Verma said that a 22-year-old B.Sc. student committed suicide by shooting himself in Jhingupur village under Saifai police station area. After inspecting the spot, the police and forensic team took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police have also recovered a pistol from the incident site. Police are investigating the matter.
