News India Live, Digital Desk: A sensational case has come to light from Nashik, Maharashtra, which has shocked the industrial world and society. Women working in a well-known multinational company (MNC) of the city have made serious allegations against their own seniors like sexual exploitation and attempts at forced religious conversion. Showing promptness in this matter, the police have so far arrested 6 team leaders and officers.

Job compulsion and cycle of exploitation

According to the information received, this entire matter came to light when about 8 women working in the company gathered courage and knocked on the door of the police. The victims allege that they were being mentally and physically tortured within the company for a long time. The accused officers used to make lewd comments on the clothes and bodies of the women.

It is being told that the age of the victim women is between 18 to 25 years and they belong to economically weak families. She endured all this for a long time due to the fear of losing her job, but when it became too much, she lodged a complaint with the police.

Playing with religious sentiments and forced activities

In the complaint given to the police, the women have made another shocking claim. They said they were forced to participate in certain religious activities. If they protested, they were threatened with being fired from their jobs or ruining their careers. After this matter came to light, there is huge anger among the local people and it is being considered as a serious case of ‘hurting religious sentiments’.

SIT will now expose the ‘dark truth’

Considering the seriousness and political sensitivity of the case, Nashik Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT). This team is now investigating in depth how long this game was going on and whether some other people are also involved in it. Police suspect that these activities were going on since the year 2022. At present, interrogation of the arrested accused is going on and statements of other employees of the company are also being recorded.
