The party has said that the statement given by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut in the context of the farmers' movement is not the opinion of the party. The Bharatiya Janata Party expresses disagreement with the statement of Kangana Ranaut. On behalf of the party, Kangana Ranaut is neither allowed nor authorized to make statements to speak on the policy issues of the party. Kangana Ranaut has also been directed by the Bharatiya Janata Party not to make any such statement in future. The Bharatiya Janata Party is determined to follow the principles of social harmony with Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas.
It is noteworthy that Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut had recently said that incidents like rape were happening in the farmers' movement. Along with this, she said that violence was taking place during the movement.
