The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains for the state, especially in the capital Ranchi. It is being told that on Friday (September 26), Ranchi and its surrounding districts will rain with strong winds. This season is expected to remain the same till September 30, in which a warning of thunderstorms has also been issued, which is really worrying.

According to meteorologists, a low pressure area is being formed in the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to convert on 26 September to a deep avidab (depression) away from the shores of South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh. It can cross these beaches by the morning of 27 September, which will show the effect on the weather of Jharkhand. In the last 24 hours, rain has been recorded in many parts of the state.

Ranchi received 11.8 mm of rain on Thursday, while districts like Simdega, West Singhbhum, Ramgarh, Khunti, Gumla and Hazaribagh also recorded light to moderate rains. From 1 June to 24 September, the entire state received 1173.2 mm of rainfall, which is 18 percent more than normal. Only Ranchi has received 50 percent more rainfall than normal during this period (1516.2 mm). According to the IMD, there will be no major change in the temperature of the state due to the cloudy for the next five days. The maximum temperature of Ranchi is estimated to be 31.6 degrees and the minimum temperature is 23.5 degrees Celsius. Godda was the highest temperature of 35.2 degrees. The Meteorological Department has expected sporadic rain in several districts including Ranchi for the next two days.
