Attack on Hindu Faith: Sheds in Shiva temple in Chittorgarh, people’s anger erupted on the road

India News Live, Digital Desk: An under -construction Shiva temple was targeted late on Monday night in Dungla police station area of ​​Badi Sadi tehsil of Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. Unknown mischievous elements in this temple located on Bhanakhedi road fragmented the Shivling and broke the pillars. The information of the incident spread in the area as soon as on Tuesday morning. The people who protested near the Dungla bus stand blocked Udaipur Road at around 9:30 am. Tires were burnt as a protest and three places were set on fire. The protests lasted for about five hours, causing traffic to be completely disrupted. District Collector Alok Ranjan, SP and Dungla DSP Deshraj Kuldeep reached the spot with heavy police force to handle the situation. Additional Jabta was also called from nearby police stations. Around 1:30 pm, the jam was removed and people were pacified after the advice and tough monitoring of the administration. DSP Deshraj said that some suspects have been detained and interrogation is going on. Police force has been deployed in the temple area for security. Police claim that the accused will be arrested soon. Local people have demanded that strict legal action be taken against those targeting the centers of religious faith so that the recurrence of such incidents can be stopped in future.
