According to sources, a team of UP ATS and Jammu and Kashmir Police reached the house of Dr. Parvez Ansari in Muttakipur area of Madiyav at around 7 in the morning. After the security cordon, the team searched the house for several hours. Local police were also present. Dr. Parvez was not present at home at the time of the raid.
The team interrogated other family members and seized several important documents and electronic evidence. UP ATS found a white Alto car parked outside the house and a Splendor bike parked inside. The gate pass of Integral University, Gudamba was found stuck on the glass of the car. Some computer equipment, mobile phones and laptops were also seized from the house.

On October 30, the Special Task Force (STF) had arrested Dr. Muzammil Ahmed, an MBBS student of Al-Falah University, Faridabad.
