In this series, Prayagraj district administration has taken the biggest action so far against a land mafia who was close to Atiq. In this action, government land worth about Rs 80 crore has been freed from the possession of land mafia.

This action took place in Naseerpur Silna area of ​​Airport police station area of ​​Prayagraj, where the mafia, considered close to Atiq Ahmed, had illegally occupied about 38 bighas of government land. A large team under the leadership of SDM Sadar Abhishek Kumar Singh carried out this entire operation.

How was land worth Rs 80 crore captured?

Investigation revealed that the land mafia had got this valuable land in their name by manipulating government documents. This land belonged to ‘Gram Sabha’ in government records, which is given on lease for some time. But many people like Amanullah, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Iqbal Ahmed, who are said to be connected to Atiq Ahmed, had completely captured it.

When the administration asked these people for evidence related to land ownership, they were not able to present any concrete document. After this, the administration took immediate action and removed the names of all these people from the land and again registered it in the name of ‘Gram Sabha’.

What will happen to this land now?

Along with freeing the land, the administration has also given strict instructions to the Revenue Department officials that it should not be encroached upon again. The Yogi government has a clear message that the lands occupied by the mafia will be vacated and used in the public interest. Earlier too, houses for the poor have been built on the land freed from the possession of Ati-K Ahmed.

This action is a big warning to all those land mafias who thought that after Atiq’s departure, they can start their old businesses again. The administration says that no person encroaching on government land will be spared and such action will continue in future also.
