In the year 2024-25, more than 1 lakh applications were received for the scheme, out of which more than 37,400 Gopalak families have been approved a loan of about Rs 248 crore.

Only those Gopalak farmers will get the benefit of this scheme who are members of the primary milk producing cooperative society of their village. They do not have to pay any interest if they pay the loan installments on time.
