345th death anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his 345th death anniversary in Raigad, Maharashtra. He addressed a public meeting. During this address, Amit Shah remembered Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The Union Home Minister described Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as the inspiration of Swarama, Swaraj and self language. It was also said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj gave the country the mantra of “Swaraj”. During his address, Amit Shah said that Rajmata Jijabai had taught high quality to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rajmata Jijabai is a vibrant symbol of patriotism. Amit Shah further said that there is no might like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the blink of an eye, Maharashtra turned into Hind Swaraj. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj inspired him to follow his religion. And due to this adventure, the Mughal Empire collapsed.
Amit Shah’s big statement on Aurangzeb
The Home Minister said that Shivaji Maharaj is not limited to Maharashtra only. The legacy of his unity is an inspiration for the country. He said that India’s resolve to become a superpower in the century of independence is inspired by the ideals of Shivaji Maharaj. He made a big statement about Aurangzeb. He said that the person calling himself Alamgir lost in Maharashtra. The ruler, who called himself Alamgir, fought a war against the Marathas in Maharashtra and died after being defeated. Today his grave is in Maharashtra. The Raigad Fort also included Amit Shah along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Udayanraje Bhosle and Minister of State Shivendra Singh Bhosle. Udayanraje Bhosle and Shivendrasinh Bhosle are descendants of the Maratha warrior king. Earlier, Shah laid a wreath at the statue of Shivaji Maharaj’s mother Jijabai in Pachad near Raigad Fort.
