American Expert’s Attack on Khalistanis: Bid – Modi’s Canada G7 goes ‘Mastrstroke’

Prior to the G7 Summit in Canada, Dr. Christine Fair, a well-known American security expert, has strongly condemned the Khalistani activities and described Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to attend this conference as ‘adventure’ and ‘masterstroke’. This statement comes at a time when a lot of stress is being seen in relations between India and Canada due to pro -Khalistani elements.

Describing the Khalistani movement as ‘one deception’ and ‘a scam’, Dr. Fair made it clear that Canada should focus on this problem that is flourishing on its earth. Describing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as a ‘weak leader’, he accused him of not taking this serious issue seriously. He said that Trudeau is not taking enough steps to prevent extremist activities from Canada’s land.

Describing PM Modi’s presence at the G7 summit as important, Dr. Fair said that it is more than just a meeting. He called it ‘a masterstroke’ as Prime Minister Modi is giving priority to Indian national interests and India’s position on the international stage is strengthening. According to him, Canada needs more business and diplomatic cooperation than India, not the opposite. Fair said that India does not need Canada to run its economy, but India is a big market and partner for Canada’s economy.

He also spoke on the Nijjar murder case, in which Canada accused India. Fair clearly stated that Canada has not presented any concrete evidence to prove its allegations till date. He emphasized that India has always taken a strong stance in matters of its safety and sovereignty and will not allow external forces to be active on its ground.

Christine Fair described Canada as ‘not serious’ on the issue of Khalistanis. He made a sharp comment saying that Canada’s attitude is such ‘as if they are drowning cookies in their coffee’ – that is, they are not taking the matter at all seriously, while this is a matter of national security. This statement of Dr. Fair has come at a time when India and Canada have seen a lot of ups and downs, and it will increase the pressure on Canada to deal with the extremist activities happening from its land.
