News India Live, Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sounded the trumpet of victory for the upcoming elections in Bihar from Samastipur, the birthplace of Jannayak Karpuri Thakur. While sharing the stage with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, PM Modi not only fiercely attacked the opposition but also made a big claim which has created a stir in the politics of Bihar. He said with full confidence that this time the NDA alliance under the leadership of Nitish Kumar will break all the old records of victory in Bihar.
Targeted the opposition from the land of Karpoori Thakur
The Prime Minister started his speech by paying tribute to Karpoori Thakur, who was a son of this soil. He said, “It is my good fortune that today I have got the opportunity to hail the development of Bihar from the land of Jannayak.” Referring to the recent ‘Bharat Ratna’ awarded to Karpoori Thakur, PM Modi targeted the opposition, especially Congress and RJD. He alleged that these parties did not respect a great leader like Karpoori Thakur for decades, whereas the NDA government has paid true tribute to him by giving him the country’s highest honour.
“Every record will be broken under the leadership of Nitish ji.”
Praising the work of Nitish Kumar, Prime Minister Modi said that ever since the “double engine” government has returned in Bihar, development work has again gained momentum. While communicating directly with the public, he said, “Today I have come from the land of Karpoori Thakur ji to make a prediction… You write it down, this time all the records of NDA’s victory under the leadership of Nitish ji will be broken in the Bihar elections. Your blessings will give us this strength.”
PM Modi also said that the opposition neither has any policy nor any clear intention. They have come together only to save their families and do corruption, whereas NDA’s aim is only to develop Bihar.
“Guarantee means NDA”
In his speech, PM Modi repeatedly mentioned ‘Modi’s Guarantee’. He said that the people of the country know that NDA does what it says. Be it free ration for the poor, Samman Nidhi for farmers or freedom from smoke for women, we have fulfilled every promise.
This roar of PM Modi from the land of Karpoori Thakur, calling Nitish Kumar the “captain” of victory and claiming to break records, has given a new edge to the NDA election campaign in Bihar.
