Job lost due to AI, luxury life snatched away
According to the information, deceased 32-year-old Banu Chandra Reddy was a software engineer in a multinational company and was working in America. His annual package there was around Rs 80 lakh. But, a big upheaval came in his life when the company laid him off due to increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). After returning from America, he was living in Bengaluru for the last one year and searching for a permanent job. At the same time, his wife Bibi Shazia Siraj worked in the giant IT company IBM. As long as Reddy had a job, both of them were living a luxurious life. But after losing their jobs, it became difficult for this couple, who came to the floor from Arsh, to handle the changed financial situation and both went into deep depression.
Inter-religious marriage and displeasure of influential family
The couple, who were struggling with financial crunch, did not get any emotional or financial support even at the family level. It is being told that Banu Chandra Reddy’s family is politically very influential and influential in Telangana. But, the family was not at all happy with the relationship due to Reddy’s love marriage with a Muslim girl (Shazia). The family had completely isolated him. On the one hand, the impact of unemployment and on the other hand, lack of family support, both these reasons had taken the mental tension between the couple to its peak.
Pain expressed in suicide note, wife jumped after seeing her husband’s dead body
According to the police, when Shazia had gone to her maternal home for a few days, Banu Chandra Reddy, overcome by loneliness and depression, hanged himself in the flat. Police have also recovered a suicide note from the spot, in which Reddy has taken full responsibility for his death. He has clearly written in his last letter that his wife should not be blamed at all for his action. After this, when Shazia returned from her maternal home and reached her Bengaluru flat and opened the door, she found her husband’s dead body hanging in front. Shazia could not bear the painful shock of her husband’s death and she also ended her life by jumping from the 17th floor balcony.
