News India Live, Digital Desk: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has opened a box of happiness for Anganwadi workers and helpers. In a grand program organized at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath not only distributed smartphones to thousands of workers, but also announced a big increase in their honorarium soon. The CM said in clear words that now Anganwadi workers will get ‘respectable honorarium’ and the government will ensure guarantee of minimum honorarium.

Yashoda Maiya will go ‘digital’ through smartphone The Chief Minister launched the process of distributing smartphones to 69,804 Anganwadi workers and Chief Sevaks of the state. During this, he compared Anganwadi workers with ‘Yashoda Maiya’ and said that just as they had nurtured Krishna Kanhaiya, in the same way these workers are strengthening the foundation of the future (children) of the country. Through these smartphones, digital monitoring and data collection of schemes will now speed up, which will curb corruption and make the work transparent.

Exploitation-free system: Changes will be seen from April Regarding the increase in honorarium, CM Yogi showed a strict attitude and said that exploitation of employees in the name of outsourcing will no longer be tolerated. He told that a special corporation has been formed for this. Now the government will send money directly into the accounts of the employees, which will end the game of ‘mafia and middlemen’. Outsourcing employees of all departments will start getting increased and respectable honorarium from the month of April itself.

Gifts worth crores and new appointments Not just smartphones and honorarium, the Chief Minister also handed over appointment letters to 18,440 newly appointed Anganwadi workers. Along with this, the foundation stone of Child Development Project offices and Anganwadi centers to be built at a cost of Rs 1,37,04 lakh in various districts of the state was laid and inaugurated. CM also released the new design of Anganwadi centres, which will be more convenient for children. He stressed that if the newborn is well-nourished and the mother is healthy, India’s future is strong.
