Ayodhya Ram Temple: People have gathered in the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, a large crowd of devotees has gathered in Ayodhya to see Lord Rama. In the last few days, such a large number of devotees are coming that Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, has to appeal to the devotees to come after 15-20 days later.
Champat Rai issued a letter saying, “The ‘main bath’ (main bathing ritual) will be held in Prayagraj on the day of Mauni Amavasya on 29 January.” It is estimated that on this auspicious day, about 10 crore devotees will take a holy bath in Prayagraj. A large number of devotees are traveling from Prayagraj to Ayodhya by train and road.
The general secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust further said, ‘There has been an unexpected increase in the number of devotees coming to Ayodhya in the last 3 days. Given the population and size of Ayodhya Dham, it is becoming difficult for such a large number of devotees to see Lord Shri Ramlala in a single day. People are facing inconvenience. As a result, necessary adjustments are being made in the system to avoid any unpleasant event. Devotees also have to walk for long distances.
Champat Rai had to appeal to the people around
Champat Rai said, ‘I appeal to the surrounding devotees to plan to come to Ayodhya after 15-20 days, so that people coming from far and wide can now see easily. This will help everyone. There will be a lot of relief after Vasant Panchami and the weather will also be good in February. Therefore, it would be good for the devotees of the surrounding area to make their plan at that time. I request you to consider this appeal.

According to estimates, more than 10 crore devotees will reach Sangam city tomorrow and take a holy bath.
