Ajay Singh, a resident of Gram Saidora, along with his elder brother Sonu, was returning home from his bicycle with a holy Ganga water from Devbhoomi Haridwar. As millions of Shiva devotees do during this time, these two brothers were also on their journey with devotion. Destiny had something else approved. When they reached the national highway near Harra Wali Gali, a high speed Bolero car hit him strongly from behind. The collision was so severe that both brothers were badly injured. He was immediately admitted to the Primary Health Center, but due to deep injuries on his head and body, both of them died shortly after. As soon as the news of the death of both brothers reached Saidora village, a wave of mourning ran in the entire village. There was chaos in the family as soon as the information was received at home. Mother, father, brother, sister and relatives, all could not stop their tears. There was an outcry in the house. The death of Shiva devotees who were returning to the joy of offering water shocked everyone. This was a very heartbreaking scene in the village when the bodies of two young sons reached the house together. After the postmortem, the bodies of Ajay and Sonu were brought to their ancestral village Saidora on Tuesday evening. In this sad clock, the entire village united for his funeral. The funeral of the two brothers was performed simultaneously on the same pyre, which was reminiscent of their deep friendship and strong bonding in the village. Hundreds of villagers arrived in this sad time to give him a final farewell, and everyone’s eyes were moist. This sacred journey of Kavad Yatra proved to be final for both of them, and this painful death of them will continue to bear the villagers for a long time. The police have registered a case and started searching for the Bolero car and its driver, so that justice can be done.
