A young man from Mumbai killed his wife in Bangalore, hid the body in a suitcase and came to Maharashtra and drank poison

Mumbai – A youth resident of Jogeshwari in Mumbai, after killing his wife in Bengaluru due to a domestic dispute, tried to commit suicide by fleeing Maharashtra and committing suicide, causing a stir. The young man found in a state of unconsciousness on the road has been admitted to a hospital in Pune for treatment. The Bangalore Police has also been informed about the incident.

Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar (32), originally a resident of Jogeshwari, who worked as a project manager in an IT firm in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, stabbed his wife Gauri (32) with a knife and hid the dead body in a suitcase and hid in the bathroom of the rented flat. While the deceased Gauri had a bachelor’s degree in mass media.

Rakesh of Jogeshwari had a love affair with his wife’s daughter Gauri. He had a love marriage two years ago. On 25 February, he and his wife left Mumbai to live in Tejaswini Nagar, Bannerghta, Bengaluru. Rakesh is a project manager in the company. And he was going to a turn from home. While Gauri was looking for a job.

It is said that Gauri brought a knife from the house and threatened to kill Rakesh, when Rakesh snatched the knife from his hand. He stabbed his wife’s neck, back and neck several times with a knife. Gauri died. After this, Rakesh filled all the items from the house in a big bag and put his wife’s body in it. The bag was kept in the bathroom. He ran away from Bengaluru with his luggage and car. He was coming to Jogeshwari.

Rakesh was under stress after his wife’s murder. When he reached Maharashtra, he bought phenyl and nausea medicine from a medical shop. He swallowed poison at Shirwal in Satara district. When his health deteriorated, he got off the car and sat on the road. Seeing Rakesh, a bike rider asked. He took Rakesh to the hospital in Shirwal for treatment. Shirwal police questioned Rakesh in the hospital. He told about the murder of his wife. He was later transferred to Sasoon Hospital in Pune for further treatment. After receiving information about the murder from the Bengaluru police, his team reached Pune.

Rakesh called the father and said- I killed him, she was harassing me a lot

After killing his wife in Bengaluru, Rakesh called her father living in Jogeshwari and said that I had killed her, she was torturing me a lot.

Accused Rakesh’s father told that Rakesh called and said that he was quarreling with me. Four days ago, he also called his parents. His mother had explained this to both of them. My father said that Gauri’s mother is my real sister. He had caused a lot of trouble in Jogeshwari. He told his father, “I have killed him and I will not survive.” His father refused to commit suicide.

He then went to Jogeshwari police station and reported the incident. Accused Rakesh’s family was opposing his marriage. But both of them remained adamant on their decision, both refused to marry someone else.
