A two-day mega campaign is being organized in all the gram panchayats of the district on May 29 and 30 to make Ayushman cards for all the beneficiaries left out under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Through the Ayushman card, APL ration card holder families are provided free treatment up to Rs 50,000 and BPL ration card holder families are provided free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. It is necessary to have an Ayushman card to avail the benefits of the scheme. At present, one lakh 83 thousand 676 beneficiaries are left to be made Ayushman cards in the district.
The district administration has appealed to the general public of the district to make Ayushman cards for themselves and all members of their families during the Maha Abhiyan. In the Maha Abhiyan, all the members of the women self-help group under NRLM and each member of their family, all beneficiaries holding MNREGA job cards and each member of their families, all Anganwadi workers and assistants and each member of their families and all Nitanins and each member of their families have been asked to get 100% Ayushman card registration done. Registration related action will be done in the Gram Panchayats by the Community Health Officer, female and male health workers, Panchayat Secretary, Employment Assistant and BC Sakhi in the Gram Panchayats. At the same time, Mitanin, Anganwadi workers and assistants will help in publicity and bringing the beneficiaries to the camp site. The work of reporting and supervision will be done by the RMA and Sector Supervisor of the concerned area.
