A two-day mega campaign is being organized in all the gram panchayats of the district on May 29 and 30 to make Ayushman cards for all the beneficiaries left out under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Through the Ayushman card, APL ration card holder families are provided free treatment up to Rs 50,000 and BPL ration card holder families are provided free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. It is necessary to have an Ayushman card to avail the benefits of the scheme. At present, one lakh 83 thousand 676 beneficiaries are left to be made Ayushman cards in the district.
The district administration has appealed to the general public of the district to make Ayushman cards for themselves and all members of their families during the Maha Abhiyan.
