Mahindra Bolero is one of the most prestigious and long -standing utility vehicles (UVs) in the Indian market. Bolero, known for its strong texture, reliability and rough-end-tuff image, has created a distinct identity in rural and semi-urban areas.
Main characteristics:
Strong construction: It is manufactured on body-on-frame chassis, which makes it suitable for better performance on off-roading and bumpy roads.
powerful engine: Bolero usually comes with powerful diesel engines, providing good torque, which is capable of drawing loads and climbing in hilly areas.
Special interior: Due to its boxy design, Bolero provides a comfortable and spacious cabin for its passengers, usually 7 people can sit (depending on variants).
Low maintenance cost: Due to Mahindra’s broad service network and accessible spare parts, Bolero’s maintenance is generally economical.
Reliability: Over the years, Bolero has been known for its strength and reliability.
Mahindra Bolero is currently available in two major variants:
Mahindra bolero neo: It is a more modern and urban-oriented version of Bolero, based on the platform of Scorpio. It comes in 5+2 seater configuration and gets better ride quality and features.
Mahindra bolero (classic): It comes with its original, traditional design and strong body, which is still very much liked today. It is particularly focused on practicality and strong performance.
Mahindra bolero neo plus: The recently launched variant is a large size version of Bolero NEO, with a 9-seater option and is particularly suitable for commercial and large families.
Competition:
The main contest of Mahindra Bolero has been Tata Sumo (which is now closed, but at one time with its big rival) and the other 7-seater UVS/MUVs.
