Hapur/Lucknow: A very sad news is coming out from Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Six people have died on the spot, while many others are seriously injured in a horrific collision between a speeding bus and a truck on the Dhaulana-Gulavathi road. This accident happened when the people traveling in the bus were returning from a wedding ceremony.
Hapur accident: Wedding happiness turned into mourning
Confirming the incident, SP Gyananjay Singh said that a bus filled with passengers collided with a truck on Dhaulana-Gulavathi road. The collision was so severe that the bus was blown to pieces.
Casualties: 6 people have lost their lives in the accident. A total of 12 people were traveling in the bus, out of which 7 injured people are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Identification: One of the dead has not been identified yet, police suspect that he may be the bus driver.
relief work: Police teams reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. The traffic has now been made smooth by removing the accident vehicles with the help of cranes. The relatives of the deceased have been informed and legal proceedings are being initiated.
There is no speed in Aligarh also: two died
Shortly before the Hapur incident, a road accident in Aligarh also uprooted two families.
Auto and car collision: A massive collision took place between an auto-rickshaw and a car at around 7 pm yesterday evening near Sikandarpur Canal in Civil Lines area.
Police action: CO Sarvam Singh said that the auto driver and a female passenger have died in the accident. Police have seized the car and the injured have been sent to the local CSC center for treatment.
