
Adani Enterprises, the flagship and leading company of Gautam Adani Group, has officially released its financial results for the June quarter of the current financial year. According to the information given by the company, it has suffered a huge net loss of Rs 1,160 crore during the June quarter this time, whereas during the same quarter last year, the company had earned a handsome profit of Rs 885 crore. While on one hand the company has suffered a net loss, on the other hand, the matter of relief on the business front is that during the quarter under review, the total income from operations has increased by a huge 50 percent on an annual basis to Rs 32,924 crore.
What caused the huge loss and what were the expenditure figures?
The main reason behind the huge loss suffered by Adani Enterprises in this quarter has been a major legal and regulatory settlement. The company has registered an exceptional loss of Rs 2,644 crore as payment of the settlement amount with the American organization US Office of Foreign Assets Control or OFAC. If this special settlement amount is excluded, the company has actually reported a profit of Rs 1,295 crore in the quarter. Apart from this, the company’s total expenses during the quarter increased by 54 per cent year-on-year from Rs 20,970 crore to Rs 32,252 crore. Cost of materials used rose sharply to Rs 14,255 crore from Rs 3,393 crore a year ago, while employee benefit expenses also rose to Rs 1,094 crore from Rs 963 crore.
Start of big projects and big statement of Gautam Adani
Amidst the financial losses, many big and important successes have also been recorded on other business fronts of the company. During the quarter, Adani New Industries commissioned a new 1.7 GW solar module manufacturing line, taking the company’s total module capacity to 5.7 GW. Along with this, Navi Mumbai International Airport has started its international operations from 15th July 2026, toll collection work on Ganga Expressway Project has started from 15th May 2026, and the company’s data center business has also received a new large hyperscale order of 400 MW. Talking about all these achievements, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that all these projects will prove to be milestones in our long-term growth journey. Referring to the successful QIP i.e. Qualified Institutional Placement of Rs 15,000 crore, he said that it shows the unwavering confidence of investors.
Adani Enterprises performance in stock market
If we look at the movement of the company’s shares in the stock market, during Wednesday’s trading session, the shares of Adani Enterprises closed at the level of Rs 3,024.45 with a slight gain. During July 2026, this share has also reached its 52-week high i.e. Rs 3,245, whereas in March 2026, the lowest level of this share was Rs 1,753.45, which is its 52-week low.
