Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme implemented by the Government of India for farmers, farmers are given assistance of Rs 6,000 per year. This amount is transferred to their bank accounts in three equal installments. With the aim of strengthening the economic condition of the farmers, this scheme has been proving beneficial since the beginning.
How to do e-KYC
First of all go to the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in. Go to the home page and click on the eKYC option. The eKYC page will open. – After this enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number. After this click on the search button. If your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar then an OTP will be sent to your phone.
Enter it and click on the submit button. After this, you will see a message stating that your eKYC has been done successfully. If the Aadhaar number is not linked to their mobile number and fingerprint is not available, then they can download the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi app from the Play Store and do e-KYC through face.
How to do bank seeding
To get Rs 6000 annually under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the farmer has to get NPCI on his account. To link NPCI, you can contact your nearest bank branch with bank passbook and Aadhar card.
What to do if the installment does not arrive?
If the installment does not reach your account even after the due date, wait for a few days. If it still does not arrive, there may be a problem in payment due to your bank account not being linked to Aadhaar, incorrect information or incomplete KYC. In such a situation, you should contact your nearest agriculture office.
