Chief Minister launches PMShree air ambulance service for patients

Bhopal, March 2 (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the PMShri Air Ambulance Service from Ujjain Police Line Air Strip on Saturday. This service will prove helpful in taking emergency patients to other places for treatment in less time.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the air ambulance service will play an important role in saving the lives of patients. At present one four-seater plane and one three-seater helicopter have been made available for PMShri Air Ambulance Service. A helicopter used for emergency service can land at any place. One stretcher and one seat each will be available in the helicopter for doctors and paramedical staff. Similarly, four seats with stretchers will be available in the plane.

There will also be life saving equipment in helicopters and planes.

For air ambulance service, the family members of the emergency patient will call the Chief Medical and Health Officer of their district. The state level nodal officer will be informed by the Chief Medical Officer. An air ambulance will be immediately sent to the concerned place.

Planes and helicopters available for air ambulance service will be stationed at Bhopal Airport. On receiving information from anywhere, we will leave for the concerned place from Bhopal. At Ujjain airstrip, MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera, Satish Malviya, Om Jain, Bahadur Singh Bormundla, Sanjay Aggarwal, Commissioner Ujjain Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh and other public representatives and Dr. Rahul Singh Sardar and Dr. associated with air ambulance service. Shalini Nalwad was also present.
