Bathinda : Gangster Arsh Dalla sitting abroad has started demanding ransom from the businessmen of Bathinda. Due to this, recently gangster Dalla had demanded a ransom of about Rs 15 lakh from a horse trader of Bathinda and had threatened to kill him if he did not pay the money. After this the victim complained about the matter to the police.
After this, the police arrested two associates of Dalla gang who had come to collect the ransom money and registered a case against 4 people including gangster Arsh Dalla and started further action. The police are interrogating the arrested accused by presenting them in the court.
Giving a complaint to the thermal police station, Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Sucha Singh Nagar, Bathinda, said that he is in the business of buying and selling horses. On February 18, a call came from a foreign number and the callers identified themselves as gangster Baljeet Maur and gangster Arsh Dalla and demanded a ransom of Rs 15 lakh.
After this he again got a call and asked him to give the ransom amount to the gang members and accused Jaspreet Singh and Bantu Singh resident of Maur Kalan. He informed the police about the matter. The police laid a trap and arrested the accused Jaspreet Singh and Bantu Singh who had come to collect ransom on 29 February. Apart from these, a case has also been registered against Canada-based gangsters Arsh Dalla and Baljeet Maur under various sections and further action has been initiated.
