Jaipur, August 4 (HS). With the aim of amputation free world, four to five thousand Jaipur riders ran in the marathon and gave the message of amputation free world. The marathon was organized by the Vascular Society, in which Apex Hospital, Wonder Cement and other organizations supported.

The marathon was flagged off by Apex Hospitals' Endo Vascular Surgeon Dr Adarsh ​​Kabra, Apex Hospital Group's Sales Head Rituraj Singh, Chief Guest Kargil Warrior Anuj Bindra, Rani Maheshwari and other guests. The marathon started from NRI Square on Mahal Road and passed through various routes of Akshaya Patra Square and concluded at NRI Circle. 4 to 5 thousand people participated in the marathon and gave the message of amputation free world. Dr Kabra said that in India every year more than five lakh people between the age of 20 to 60 have to get their legs amputated, the main reason for which is blockage in the arteries of the legs. The main reason for this is diabetes, smoking, unhealthy lifestyle, Gagarin and cancer. He said that the purpose of this half marathon is to spread awareness of “Save Limb Save Life” so that people can live their lives normally and not with disability.
