Khunti, 29 February (Hindustan Reporter). The ongoing six-day entrepreneurship development training at Bank of India, Star R SETI Institute concluded on Thursday. In the closing ceremony, chief guest Khunti District Council Vice President Manju Devi and special guest Murhu Block Deputy Chief Arun Kumar Sabu distributed certificates among 28 trained women.
On the occasion, Manju Devi inspired the women and said that only when women adopt self-employment, there will be progress in the society. When women get an opportunity, they prove that they are no less than anyone in intelligence and ability.
He said that when a woman becomes self-reliant, the entire family moves on the path of progress. Deputy Chief Arun Kumar Sabu appreciated the efforts of R Setty in the development of Khunti and described it as a milestone. He said how with the initiative of the government, a bank loan and the cooperation of public representatives, R Setti is paving the way for the development of remote village people by providing them quality training. LDM of Khunti district, Sanat Kumar Dubey said that thousands of people have improved their lives by getting training in R Setti. Not only in rural areas, but also in urban areas, people have started many small and big businesses.
He said that where earlier people were forced to go to other states for livelihood, now they have employment. All facilities are free in R Setti. We also provide loans to the trained people at cheap rates from various banks of the district, so that no person is deprived of starting self-employment due to lack of capital. Director of the institute, Mithilesh Kumar said that the objective of R Setti is to encourage self-employment and self-reliance in rural areas.
