According to a Forbes India report, Map My India's parent company CE Info Systems has alleged that Ola Electric has launched a mapping service in India using their data. Ola Electric signed an agreement with Map My India to launch a navigation service for the S1 Pro electric scooter in 2022. Ola Electric is accused of violating the license agreement. Under this agreement, Ola Electric cannot launch any similar product.

CE Info Systems has said in the notice that Ola has created Ola Maps using our API and SDK. Ola Electric has adopted illegal methods for financial gain. Ola Electric claimed that they developed the API themselves and created Ola Maps with the help of Open Maps. CE Info Systems has denied this.
