New Delhi/Kota, 28 February (Hindustan Reporter). The application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG, 2024) has started for admission to undergraduate courses in 44 national universities of the country, central universities of the states and more than 200 leading private universities approved by the UGC. The last date to apply online is 16th March. Students will be able to make corrections in their applications on 28th and 29th March. Through this examination, the candidate will be eligible for admission in 249 universities of the country including BHU, Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
This entrance examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 15 to 31, 2024 in pen-paper and CBT hybrid mode in two to three shifts daily. Whose online admit cards will be released in the second week of May, 2024. This examination will be conducted in 13 languages. For this, examination centers have been set up in 354 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. This entrance examination will be conducted in 14 cities including Kota in Rajasthan.

Allen Career Institute counselor Parijat Mishra said that the examination fee for CUET-UG will be Rs 1000 for any three subjects for general category and Rs 400 for each additional subject. For EWS general and OBC non-creamy layer, the fee for three subjects will be Rs 900 and Rs 375 per additional subject. For ST/SC/PWBD/Third Gender the fee will be Rs 800 for three subjects and Rs 350 per paper for additional subjects. The examination fee at centers located in 35 countries abroad will be Rs 4500 for three subjects and Rs 1800 for additional subjects. This Indian entrance exam will be held in many major countries including USA, Australia, Russia, South Africa, Canada, Hong Kong, UAE.
Recall that last year, 249 recognized universities of the country had given admission in various courses through CUET-UG. According to UGC sources, a total of 19.02 lakh students had registered for CUET-UG 2023, out of which 13 lakh 995 had deposited the application fee. Apart from India, more than 1000 foreign students from 14 countries also took interest in it.
