Spicejet Worker Slapped CISF Officer: Another case of slapping has come to light at the airport. During an argument over security check, a female employee of SpiceJet slapped a CISF jawan, after which he was arrested. The video of this is also going viral on social media.
In fact, SpiceJet's food supervisor Anuradha Rani was stopped at the gate of Jaipur airport by Assistant Sub-Inspector Giriraj Prasad at around 4 am. It was told that she did not have permission to use the gate for vehicles. Police and CISF officials said that when the airline staff asked the security personnel to go through another gate, they slapped them. After this, a case was registered against Anuradha Rani under sections of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and investigation is currently underway.
However, in this case, SpiceJet defended its employees and said that they were sexually abused. A SpiceJet spokesperson said that the employee had a valid airport entry pass for entry. Despite this, CISF officials used abusive language with them. They were abused. Not only this, CISF jawans also asked the woman to come and meet them at their home after duty. He said that SpiceJet is taking legal action against CISF employees in the case of sexual harassment.
A senior CISF official said that the woman was asked to undergo immediate examination. When stopped, the woman got agitated and slapped the CISF jawan on duty. He also said that no female CISF personnel was present at that time. The official said that a case has been registered against the woman and she has been arrested.
