Fatehabad, July 10 (HS). The district level convention of All Haryana PWD Mechanical Employees Union was held on Wednesday in the premises of the Public Health Department office under the chairmanship of District President Shamsher Kundu. The meeting was conducted by District Secretary Ramkaran Prajapati. Union's State President Narendra Dhiman, General Secretary Amrik Singh Chattha and Treasurer Pawan Rajana specially participated in the convention and strongly opposed the anti-employee policies of the government.
Addressing the convention, State President Narendra Dhiman said that the anti-employee policies of the government have caused great disappointment among the employees of the state. Departments are being privatized. Temporary employees are not being made permanent. He demanded immediate stop to privatization of departments, regularization of temporary employees, disbandment of Kaushal Rojgar Nigam and regular employment, restoration of old pension policy.
Narendra Dhiman said that apart from these demands, every employee of All Haryana Mechanical Employees Union is forced to struggle to give a befitting reply to other anti-employee policies of the government. The union will surround Public Health Minister Dr. Banwari Lal on July 25 regarding these demands. All the employees from Tohana, Ratia, Bhuna and Bhattu from Fatehabad district, heads and officials of branches were present in the convention. Fatehabad District Chairman Suresh Sharma, Deputy Head Tota Ram, Finance Secretary Dalbir Singh, Chief Organizer Rajkumar, Devendra Negi Branch Prachan from PB, Subhash Gujjar, Mahipal Rawat, Neeraj, Vinod Sigad, Jagdish Sharma, Pawan Saini, Sonu Sharma, Subhash Bainiwal and many other employee leaders addressed the convention.
