The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Punjab has organized a big meeting outside the house of Amritpal Singh, an independent MP from Khadoor Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. During this, they have set up a tent outside the house and informed Amritpal Singh's family about the demands of the farmers.

A memorandum of demands was handed over by the farmers to Tarsem Singh, father of MP Amritpal Singh, informing him about the demands of the farmers. Farmers have been sitting on the borders of Haryana since February 13 demanding MSP on 23 crops including the MSP subsidy law and yesterday the farmer organizations had planned to submit the memorandum of demands to non-BJP MPs. Similarly, farmers across Punjab have given their memorandum of demands to non-BJP MPs.

The struggle started by about 200 organizations of the country on 13 February to implement the demands of farmers and laborers is continuing at different places even today on the 147th day after the government blocked the way by imposing heavy restrictions. Due to this, as per the program decided by both the forums leading the movement, a memorandum regarding the demands of the farmer-labor struggle was given to the non-BJP MPs of 12 states of the country.

Farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who are leading the movement, informed that 13 MPs from Punjab, 1 from Chandigarh, 5 from Haryana, 11 from Rajasthan, 20 from Uttar Pradesh, 1 (Rajya Sabha member) from Madhya Pradesh, 6 from Bihar, 12 from Karnataka, 10 from Telangana, 5 from Maharashtra, 19 from Kerala and 29 from Tamil Nadu will discuss the demands of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh such as making MSP guarantee law on the purchase of all crops, 200 days of employment per year and Rs 700 daily wage for laborers, ending the total debt of farmers and agricultural laborers under the MNREGA scheme, implementing the 5th Schedule of the Constitution to protect the rights of tribals and taking India out of the World Trade Organization. All the demands of the manifesto will be discussed. Lok Sabha is starting from July 22.
