There was online fraud in the name of scrap, police returned 10 lakh rupees to the victim


Firozabad, July 05 (HS). On Friday, the cyber police team safely returned Rs 10 lakh to the victim of an online fraud in the name of scrap. After getting the money back, the victim had a smile on his face and he appreciated the work of the police.

Cyber ​​police station in-charge inspector Alok Mishra said on Friday that Akshay, a resident of Shikohabad, had given a complaint in the cyber police station that he was cheated in the name of getting C class material (scrap). He had paid for it through RTGS. On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered on June 26 and investigation was started. The cyber police team made timely efforts and corresponded with the concerned banks, in the course of which the cyber police team returned the victim's 10 lakh rupees safely on Friday. The victim has thanked Senior Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit and the cyber police team.
