Khunti, July 2 (HS). A meeting of the District Advisory Committee and Hospital Management Committee was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra. Many major proposals were discussed in the meeting of the District Advisory Committee.
Mainly the proposals discussed were installation of CT scan machine in Sadar Hospital, construction of canteen, purchase of portable X-ray machine, construction of waiting area, etc. The Deputy Commissioner directed to determine the rate for implementation of the proposals, to proceed with the contract and tender process. The Deputy Commissioner said that with the help of portable X-ray machine, patients will not need to go anywhere for X-ray.
In the meeting of the hospital management, the DC instructed to pay special attention to cleanliness. He instructed to change the bedsheets of the beds in the wards regularly. In the meeting, it was also asked to ensure that the patients are treated well at the CHC centers and the deputed doctors are present at the CHC center on time.
He said that if any medical officer in charge or doctor does not sit at his deputed place, then disciplinary action will be taken against him. Giving necessary instructions regarding unnecessary referral of patients to CHC centers, he said that patients should not be referred unnecessarily. If their proper treatment is possible at CHC level, then treat them on priority basis.
