Akshay Kumar starrer 'Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat' is now closed. The shooting of the film had started, but the film was stopped due to budget problems. According to a recent report, producer Wasim Qureshi has run out of budget to make the film. 50 percent of the film has been shot. Akshay Kumar was in a guest role in this period drama film. He shot for this film for 3 days. He has also been paid a huge amount of fees. However, it is not clear yet whether Akshay has completed the shooting or his part is yet to be shot. The report further states that it is not clear at the moment when the budget issues will be resolved and when the next shooting of the film will take place. Apparently there is no update on this yet. There is no clarity yet about the release of this film.

The film 'Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat' is an Indian-Marathi period drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film was earlier scheduled to release on Diwali last year, however Salman Khan's 'Tiger-3' was also releasing at that time. To avoid a clash, the makers postponed the release of the film. The film will be the story of the 7 brave Marathas of the Maratha Empire. Akshay Kumar was going to make his debut in Marathi cinema by playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in this film. However, making the film seems difficult due to budget constraints. Apart from Akshay's cameo, the film also stars Praveen Tarade, Hardik Joshi, Vishal Nikam, Utkarsh Shinde and Virat Madke in lead roles.
