Giridih, 11 May (Hindustan Reporter) The half-burnt body of an unidentified youth was found on Saturday morning in Gurha forest of Dumri police station area. Regarding the incident, it is said that on Saturday morning some people of the village had gone towards Gurha forest of Giridih for defecation. During this time the villagers felt the smell of burning. When the villagers went inside the forest, they saw that the dead body of a young man was lying in a half-burnt state. After this, the villagers created a ruckus and called other nearby people also. After this this information was given to the police.
After receiving the information, Dumri police station reached the spot and interrogated the nearby villagers. After this, the body was taken into their custody and sent for post-mortem. Police say that the matter is being investigated. Something can be said on this only after investigation. At present the body has not been identified. However, looking at the dead body, it is suspected that the young man may have been murdered. Villagers say that the body has been burnt to destroy evidence.
